Community Festivities, Vendor Samples, and Grand Prizes
MAUI, HI — ‘Oko‘a Farms is proud to announce the grand opening celebration of its brand-new retail store, offering a vibrant new hub for fresh, locally grown produce and specialty island products for South Maui. The community is invited to join the festivities this Saturday July 4th, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Following the regular store opening at 7:00am, the grand opening events will officially commence at 9:00 AM with a traditional Hawaiian blessing. Following the blessing, owner Ryan Earehart will share his heartfelt mahalos and present leis to the essential partners, family, staff, investors, and community supporters who helped bring this vision to life.
“This store is a culmination of so many years of hard work, community collaboration, and a shared passion for sustainable, local agriculture,” says Earehart. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us on this journey, and we can’t wait to welcome our neighbors into this new space.”
The grand opening line-up features a full day of family-friendly activities, exclusive giveaways, and local flavors:
- Local Flavors & Vendor Samplings: Many of ‘Oko‘a Farms’ beloved local vendors will be on-site throughout the day offering product samples. Visitors can also enjoy a premium selection of Okoa’s own house-made foods and beverages.
- Chef Collaborations: The celebration will showcase the vibrant culinary community of Maui, featuring special pūpū crafted by exceptional local chef contributors, highlighting fresh ingredients sourced straight from ‘Oko‘a Farms.
- Hourly Raffles & Grand Prize: Excitement will build throughout the day with raffle drawings at the top of every hour. Prizes include branded ‘Oko‘a merchandise and $25 gift certificates. One lucky winner will take home the Grand Prize: an exclusive farm tour for two and a curated gift bag and certificate package valued at $200.
- Keiki Activities: Families are welcome, featuring a dedicated Keiki coloring table to keep the little ones entertained.
- Loyalty Program Launch: Shoppers will have the first opportunity to sign up on-site for the new ‘Oko‘a Farms loyalty program to unlock future rewards and exclusive farm updates.
